1. Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
The certification course is offered by ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), the nonprofit group. The group has designed the certification for IT professionals and project managers. CRISC is for the individuals whose job is to identify and manage business risks using Information Systems controls. Over 20,000 professionals around the world are CRISC certified.
The candidate appearing for CRISC certification must have at least three years of professional experience in two out of four areas that the exam covers. The computer based exam is conducted during eight windows for thrice a year. You can register for the exam on the ISACA website.

2. Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
The CISM course is again offered and maintained by ISACA. The course tests your management skills, security strategy and, an ability to assess systems and policies. The computer based exam is offered in eight weeks windows thrice a year. The certification test requires an individual to have at least five years of professional experience in information systems.

3. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
CISSP is offered and maintained by International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2. The certification assures the security expertise of a candidate. Over 11,000 IT professionals around the world are certified by CISSP. The certification course requires an individual to have at least five years of experience in Information Systems. Out of five, the candidate should have worked as a security manager for three years. If you don’t have required experience, you can still give the exam and earn the (ISC)2 Associate Designation while working towards full certification.

4. Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
This certification is designed for candidates aspiring to have job profile that includes auditing, controlling, monitoring and assessing IT or business systems. The exam tests the abilities of a candidate to manage vulnerabilities and propose processes, controls. The candidate is also required to update company policies to meet the compliance according to IT and business standards.
CISA is the oldest certification by ISACA, it was first introduced in 1978. Over 126,000 candidates around the world are certified with CISA. The course requires the candidate to have at least five years of professional experience in IS auditing, security or control. Similar to other ISACA courses, the exam is scheduled during eight-week window thrice a year.

5. Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization (CCP-V)
The certification assures that the candidate has knowledge of deploying virtual desktops and applications using Citrix technologies. CCP-V has replaced the older Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE) certification. The course exam is focused on XenDesktop 7 technology. There is a high demand but low supply for Citrix certified professionals. The exam is exclusive to candidates who carry Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V) certification. CCP-V is valid only for three years.
